Trooper’s cruiser struck during traffic stop in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Kentucky State Police trooper is being evaluated by medical staff after his cruiser was reportedly struck during a traffic stop.
KSP Post 3 public affairs officer trooper Katan Parker confirmed Thursday afternoon that the KSP trooper’s vehicle was hit by a another vehicle while conducting a traffic stop today.
Parker says the incident occurred on Interstate 65 northbound at the 23-mile marker.
Parker says both the trooper and the driver of the vehicle involved sustained injuries. The trooper is being evaluated by medical staff at this time, according to Parker.
