Firefighters battle Adair County home fire

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Fire units responded to a structure fire in Adair County on Monday.

The Columbia Adair County Fire Department received a dispatch to a structure fire at 112 West Barbee Street at approximately 7:04 am.

According to a release, firefighters located a home with heavy fire conditions.

The fire was quickly contained to the residence.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

Two victims were taken to TJ Health Columbia for injury treatment.
