1 dead following motorcycle crash in Green County

GREEN COUNTY, Ky. – A woman is dead following a motorcycle accident in Green County.

Green County Coroner David Taylor says his office and the Green County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a motorcycle accident that happened at Highway 565 Ebenezer Road in Green County on Sunday afternoon.

Taylor says the driver, Derrick Coyle, was flown to a Louisville hospital for injury treatment.

Coyle’s passenger, Hazel Rakes, was transported to Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. Rakes was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
