Kentucky State Police investigates fatal collision in Allen County

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – One person has died following a crash in Allen County.

According to the Kentucky State Police, just before noon on Wednesday, KSP Post 3 received a call about the fatal collision.

Troopers say thet responded to the scene on Macedonia Road at Old Gallatin Road.

According to authorities, a preliminary investigation indicates that a red 2010 Ford Fusion driven by Martin Arterburn, 68, of Scottsville was traveling west on Macedonia Road. Arterburn’s vehicle went off the roadway and struck a rock wall, troopers say.

Arterburn was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen County coroner.

The investigation is ongoing.
