Glasgow police respond to injury collision, 1 transported to hospital

GLASGOW, Ky. – One person has been transported for treatment following a collision in Glasgow on Tuesday.

According to the Glasgow Police Department, the reported injury collision occurred at the intersection of State Avenue and Lexington Drive.

Police say they learned a 2022 GMC Terrain driven by Charlotte Perkins was traveling eastbound on Lexington Drive and was attempting to turn left onto State Avenue. The driver then failed to see a 2017 Jeep Wrangler driven by Debbie Tinsley, who was traveling westbound on Lexington Drive, police say.

Tinsley was transported by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for her injuries.

Officers were also assisted on scene by the Glasgow Fire Department.
