Charity Golf Classic benefits Masonic Homes of Kentucky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Country Club hosted the fourth annual Jim Johnson Charity Golf Classic for the Masonic Homes of Kentucky on Monday.

The golf classic is held each year in support of the Masonic Homes of Kentucky, a program that assists the elderly and children with housing, healthcare and memory care for those dealing with dementia.

The Masonic Homes started in Louisville but serves all of Kentucky. Proceeds help individuals residing in the south-central Kentucky region.

“The money raised here will go to help those individuals across the state, not just here in Bowling Green,” said Jim DeCesare, a mason of Bowling Green Lodge No. 73. “This is kind of an event for us to get more, more joy and more love for Masonic homes. Kentucky Masonic care here in south-central Kentucky.”
