Power restored for portion of Simpson County

SIMPSON COUNTY, Ky. – Power is restored Wednesday evening for over 900 households in Simpson County.

According to Warren Electric Cooperative Corporation, the power outage was reported in the Franklin area. The cause was determined to be a bird, officials say.

WRECC’s web outage viewer stated at 5 p.m. that a combined 979 households were without power.
