Salvation Army Angel Tree sign-ups open this month

GLASGOW, Ky. – It’s never too early to start planning for Christmas.

That’s what the Salvation Army is doing later this month with three days of Angel Tree sign-ups.

Families in need can register, allowing others to “adopt” an angel on a tree to provide gifts to that child that otherwise may go without.

To sign up, you must have the following:

• Identification
• SNAP benefits awards letter
• Children’s clothing sizes for shirts, pants and shoes

Sign-ups will be hosted on the following dates:

• Tuesday, Sept. 23 from 7 to 11 a.m.
• Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. t0 2 p.m.
• Thursday, Sept. 25 from 3 to 7 p.m.
