Results released for ‘Best in Kentucky’ 2025, 2 local names take top spots

MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. –  The results are in for Kentucky Living’s “Best in Kentucky” 2025.

One local destination, Mammoth Cave National Park, has placed first in both the road trip and place for adventure categories. In addition, it placed second as a historic attraction and third in the hiking trail category.

The local area is also represented thanks to Dennison’s Roadside Market, which placed third in agritourism attraction.

In places for live music, The Grove in Glasgow placed third, followed by Joel Ray’s Lincoln Jamboree in second and The Amp at Log Still in first place.

In kid-friendly attractions, Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo placed third.

For down-home restaurants, Sulphur Well’s very own Lighthouse Restaurant placed first.

Best in Kentucky’s coffee shop section also features a local name, with Ace Coffee taking second place.

Finally, for local radio hosts, Kellie McKay of Glasgow claimed second place.
