First responders successfully locate 13-year-old in Hart County

HART COUNTY, Ky. – A missing Hart County teen is now home thanks to first responders.

On Tuesday, Hart County Search and Rescue, Inc. confirmed it responded with CSI KY Canine Search, Inc. of Kentucky at 1:12 a.m. to assist the Hart County Sheriff’s Office and Munfordville Police Department with a search for a missing teen.

Officials say a 13-year-old male was located at 4:43 a.m.

He since been reunited with his family, according to officials.

Additional assisting agencies included Hart County Emergency Management, Hart County EMS and Campbellsville Fire and Rescue Special Operations.
