Burn ban in effect for Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A burn ban is in effect for all of Warren County.
The Bowling Green Fire Department announced the ban Friday afternoon, stating this is due to excess dryness and lack of measurable rainfall.
This presents fire hazard conditions.
The burn ban includes the lighting of fireworks and burning any materials outside, officials say. Penalties for violating the ban can range between $50 and $500.
An update will be available when the ban is lifted. News 40 will provide additional details on this tonight at 6 p.m.
