Hart County Sheriff’s Office to conduct traffic safety checkpoints

HART COUNTY, Ky. – The Hart County Sheriff’s Office is conducting traffic safety checkpoints.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies will be checking for impaired driving and improper car seat restraint and will be informing the public about the use of seat belts.

The safety check points will be conducted in multiple locations that are experiencing a high ratio of vehicle accidents that are resulting in injuries or death compared to a low safety restraint usage.

The following locations will have traffic safety checkpoints:

  • KY 728 and KY 88 Cub Run
  • KY 728 and US 31W Bonnieville
  • Raider Hollow Road and US 31W Munfordville
  • 31W One mile North Horse Cave
  •  31W Rowletts
  • 31E Bunnell Crossing Road
  • 31E and KY 936
  •  31W and Main Street Bridge Munfordville
  • KY 218 and KY 1846
  •  KY 218 and KY 335
  • KY 357 and KY 728
  • KY 88 and KY 1015
  • 31E Green River Bridge
  • Hart/Metcalfe KY 218
  • Hart/Barren US 31E
