BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Two people are charged with kidnapping after police say a woman was assaulted in Bowling Green.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded on Aug. 2 to a report of a kidnapping and assault at a residence.

Authorities say the victim stated she was kidnapped and “brutally assaulted” by 31-year-old Marquise Nolan of Bowling Green. The citation further states she told police a female, later identified as 23-year-old Kaleah Lack of Bowling Green, assisted Nolan during the kidnapping.

Police say Nolan drove the victim’s vehicle to an apartment on Trent Way to meet Lack.

The victim told police Nolan “boasted” about the assault, and Lack and Nolan talked about sexually assaulting her, according to the citation.

Police say Lack followed Nolan to an apartment complex on Old Morgantown Road.

Lack then allegedly drove Nolan and the victim to a bar on St. Charles Street.

The victim says Nolan asked Lack to “watch her closely” while he was inside the bar.

The citation states it was reported that when Nolan was inside the bar, gunshots were fired. Authorities say Nolan told Lack to return the victim to the apartment on Old Morgantown Road and wait for him.

Officers say they later located Lack’s vehicle and located the victim in the backseat.

Jail records state Nolan was arrested on Aug. 2, while Lack was arrested on Aug. 14.

Lack is charged with kidnapping of an adult. Nolan faces charges of kidnapping of an adult, second-degree assault – domestic violence, third-degree terroristic threatening, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence, minor injury), second-degree strangulation (domestic violence related), violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO and more.

Both remain at the Warren County Regional Jail.
