T.J. Regional Health launches Better Breathers support group

GLASGOW, Ky. – A local healthcare provider is launching a support group for those with chronic lung diseases.

Stacey Biggs, EVP of Marketing, Planning, and Development for T. J. Regional Health, says the Better Breather Club is a support group for individuals living with chronic COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and lung cancer.

The support group offers education, resources, and peer support. It is a part of the national network of patient-centered programs supported by the American Lung Association.

Biggs says the group will meet on the second Monday of each month at 1 pm at the T.J. Health Pavilion Community Center in Glasgow. The first meeting is on September 8. Meetings are free.
