Teen flown after Grayson County UTV wreck

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – A Grayson County teen is facing serious injuries after a UTV wreck.

According to WNKY News 40 media partner K105, the crash occurred Saturday around 6:35 p.m. on Hollow Church Road, a dead-end street on the 9200 block of Owensboro Road.

Upon arrival, first responders located a 19-year-old male who had been seriously injured in a UTV crash. K105 reports the vehicle was found in the middle of the road and had to be moved by firefighters to make a path for EMS personnel.

The Leitchfield Fire Department, EMS and the Kentucky State Police were on scene to assist.

The teen was flown from Rough River State Park Airport, as the Falls of Rough Fire Department assisted by setting up a landing zone, to a Louisville hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
