Units respond to structure fire at Warren Co. home

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Warren County home is damaged following a house fire on Wednesday.

Richardsville Fire Department chief Brian Lee confirmed Wednesday morning units were on scene of a reported structure fire on Robins Nest Drive.

Lee says units were dispatched just before 11:30 a.m. to the scene.

Upon arrival, an initial responding Richardsville engine reported a fire showing from the front of the structure, according to Lee.

He says the fire was quickly brought under control.

The fire appeared to have started outside on the front porch, according to Lee, before advancing up the wall to the roof line and reaching the living room.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The Richardsville Fire Department was assisted by the Gott Fire Department, Smiths Grove Fire Department, Barren River Fire Department and Bowling Green Fire Department.
