BGMU issues water outage notice for some downtown roads

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Some customers in downtown Bowling Green may experience a water outage Tuesday afternoon.

Bowling Green Municipal Utilities announced that water crews will be performing emergency water line replacement, resulting in an outage.

The outage will impact Chestnut Street from Fifth Avenue to Fairview Avenue and High Street from Fairview Avenue to Orchard Street, along with all of Orchard Street.

BGMU says it expects this outage to last around four hours, or until 2:30 p.m.
