Butler County road set for long-term closure

BUTLER COUNTY – A Butler County road is set for a long-term closure.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 reports that a project to replace a drainage structure on KY 1153, Sandy Creek Road over Grassy Lick Creek, located in southern Butler County, is expected to close the road for three weeks.

The closure is expected to begin on Monday, August 11.

The KYTC states that no detour signs will be posted.

KYTC says motorists north of the closure location can use KY 79 as a detour. Motorists south of the closure can use KY 626 and KY 79 as a detour.
