1 dead after falling from truck in Nelson County

NELSON COUNTY, Ky. – One person has died after falling from a truck in Nelson County.

According to the Northeast Nelson Fire Protection District, units were dispatched to the 1800 block of Hibbs Lane to assist EMS with a trauma patient that had fallen from a bucket truck.

Officials say the patient fell around 35 feet total.

The patient, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Agencies on scene/assisting included Nelson County EMS, Nelson County Fire/Rescue, Nelson County Coroner and Nelson County Dispatch. Units were on scene approximately two and a half hours.
