City of Glasgow reopens North Race Street parking ramp

GLASGOW, Ky. – The City of Glasgow has announced the official reopening of the North Race Street parking ramp.
The city says the structure had previously been closed due to safety concerns. As of Thursday, the structure is once again open and available for public parking.
The ramp was temporarily closed to address needed improvements and ensure the safety of all who utilize it, city officials say. With those concerns now fully resolved, residents and visitors can enjoy expanded access to downtown businesses, events, and the square.
“This project has been a priority for us, and I’m proud of the work our team has done to get it back open safely and efficiently,” said mayor Henry Royse. “This structure is important to our downtown district. Having it open again means more access, more convenience, and more momentum as we continue to invest in the future of Glasgow.”
The city thanks the public for their patience during the closure and encourages the community to take advantage of the renewed parking access.
