Historic Railpark faces unexpected repairs, donations requested

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Historic Railpark and Train Museum needs your help to stay on track.

According to the railpark, the Bowling Green Trolley’s kneel mechanism got stuck in the down position last weekend. The railpark says this repair was costly and put the trolley out of operation for several days.

This meant the cancellation of a full tour and refunds for several sold-out tickets.

In addition, the air conditioner to the railroad post office car has now given out.

After repairs, the railpark says this has put a strain on summer revenue when it is needed most.
