2 injured, 1 flown for treatment following head-on crash in Logan

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A two-vehicle crash leaves one with serious injuries in Logan County.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle collision Friday morning on Morgantown Road near Homer Chapel Road.

LCSO’s preliminary investigation shows a truck, driven by Logan K. Gipson, 22, of Lewisburg, was traveling southbound when it collided head-on with an SUV operated by Courtney S. Price, 35, of Auburn, who was traveling northbound.

LCSO says Gipson sustained serious injuries and was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment.

Price sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The investigation is ongoing.
