Glenview Health and Rehab celebrates 55 years of care in Barren County
GLASGOW, KY — A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in Glasgow on Friday—not to mark the opening of something new, but to honor more than half a century of trusted service.
Glenview Health and Rehab is celebrating its 55th anniversary, a major milestone for a facility that has become a cornerstone of care in the Barren County community.
Since first opening its doors in 1970, Glenview has earned a reputation for putting patients first. The facility offers a broad range of services, including orthopedic and stroke recovery, respiratory therapy, and diabetes management. But those who work there say the real difference is making patients feel at home.
“It just means that I’m getting to help support the tradition that has gone on all these years, and all the care that’s been given,” said Ashley Hume, Administrator of Glenview Health and Rehab. “We’re celebrating not only the changes and embracing the future, but also remembering the past.”
Staff at Glenview say their commitment to compassionate care and a family-focused approach is what brings them to work each day with purpose and pride.
Looking ahead, Hume says the mission remains the same: to serve the community with compassion, experience, and heart—for the next 55 years and beyond.
