Louisville man flees police, leaves 4-month-old child in car

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Louisville Metro Police Department is searching for a man that allegedly fled police and left behind his 4-month-old child.
According to police, Christopher A, Morris fled when LMPD attempted to conduct a traffic stop for a traffic violation on Wednesday.
Now, officers say they are working to locate him after he ran from from the Village West area in Louisville.
In the back of the abandoned car, police say they found Morris’ young child. Officers say the child was checked by EMS and transferred to one of the child’s grandparents.
Morris remains wanted on multiple felony warrants of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, parole violation for felony offense, flagrant non-support, harassment with physical contact and child endangerment.
