The 4th annual Chocolate Crawl sweetens Barren County businesses

GLASGOW, KY.- The Chocolate Crawl is back and sweeter than ever in Barren County, bringing smiles and sugar to the streets of Glasgow.

This beloved tradition, now in its fourth year, invites the community to shop local while indulging in delicious treats. With 12 businesses participating, shoppers enjoy everything from chocolate fondue and mocktails to exclusive store sales.

Amy Gibson, owner of Fire Line Outdoors, says, “It’s deliciousness, number one. This gives people the opportunity to take time and just enjoy shopping.”

The event is more than just a sweet tooth’s dream—it’s about connection and community.

Jessica Gilbert, co-owner of Boutique Unique, explains, “Our town is so rich. We just want people to have a fun reason to go there.”

The Chocolate Crawl encourages people to explore shops they may not have visited before, helping small businesses gain exposure. Many owners say they see new customers every year who return just to experience the event again.

Debra Alexander of Boutique Unique adds, “It’s our way as businesses to collaborate together to give back to our community.”

If you missed Friday’s crawl, don’t worry—many shops are extending hours and continuing the fun on Saturday. It’s a hometown tradition built on chocolate, community and a whole lot of heart. To learn more, click here.
