FEMA and Small Business Administration walk Hart County
HART COUNTY, Ky. — Federal disaster teams are on the ground in Hart County, going door-to-door to help residents recover from the devastating April 2025 floods.
Representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) are working together to make sure homeowners, renters, nonprofits, and local businesses are aware of the aid available.
Hart County was recently designated a federal disaster area, opening the door for financial assistance to help offset losses and repairs caused by the flooding.
Residents can apply for assistance in several ways — online, by phone, or through mobile apps.
The deadline to apply for federal assistance is July 25.
