Franklin woman arrested on drug possession charge in Scottsville

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Franklin woman is facing charges following a traffic stop in Scottsville on Monday.
According to the Scottsville Police Department, officers initiated a traffic stop around 9 a.m. on a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Brandi Boisseau of Franklin for a traffic-related offense.
Police say during this time, officers located suspected methamphetamine in the vehicle.
Boisseau was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third offense (methamphetamine), no brake lights (passenger vehicles) and following another vehicle too closely.
She remains at the Allen County Detention Center.
