Med Center of Bowling Green hosts annual nursing and clinical support staff awards
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – While MVPs are often crowned on the field or court, Tuesday afternoon proved that excellence isn’t limited to sports.
The Med Center at Bowling Green hosted its annual Nursing and Clinical Support Staff Awards, recognizing outstanding team members for their dedication, leadership and compassion.
Six individuals were honored for going above and beyond in their roles:
-
Jonie Ewing was named Clinical Support Staff of the Year.
-
Courtney Livingston received the prestigious Faye White Nursing Leadership Award.
-
Annie Cross took home Rookie of the Year honors.
-
Addyson Wright was recognized as the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital (CRSH) Support Staff of the Year.
-
Leanne Bielack earned the title of CRSH Nurse of the Year.
-
And the top honor, the MVP Award for The Med Center at Bowling Green, was awarded to Robin Farmer.
“It’s important to pause and take your time to say thank you and recognize those that go above and beyond—not just doing the minimum, but putting in the extra effort to be truly great,” said Katrina Wood, executive vice president and chief nursing officer. “Recognition inspires others to do the same.”
The event highlighted the Med Center’s commitment to celebrating exceptional care and leadership in healthcare, proving that heroism comes in many forms—and sometimes, it wears scrubs instead of a jersey.
