General Motors Bowling Green Assembly plant announces layoffs

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – General Motors Bowling Green Assembly has released a statement after announcing layoffs.

A spokesperson for Bowling Green Assembly has stated the following regarding the situation:

“Bowling Green Assembly has notified a small number of employees of an indefinite layoff as a result of operational changes at the plant. Impacted employees may be offered employment opportunities at other GM locations, which includes relocation assistance as applicable.”

In total, Bowling Green Assembly says 31 employees have been laid off.
