Glasgow man allegedly steals Louisville vehicle

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow man allegedly stole a vehicle.

Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Major Terry Flatt says a stolen vehicle from Louisville was located on Happy Valley Road on Monday.

The department received as Flock Camera Alert.

The officer who located the stolen vehicle made contact with Derek L. Sanders, of Glasgow, at the scene.

During a search, the officer says suspected methamphetamine was located inside the stolen vehicle.

Sanders was arrested and transported to the Barren County Detention Center.

Sanders is charged with receiving stolen property $1,000<$10,000 and possession control substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine).
