2 charged after being located with drugs in Bowling Green home

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Two people are behind bars after deputies say they were located inside another person’s home with drugs present.

According to a uniform citation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded Saturday to Carter Road for a report of trespassing.

Deputies say upon arrival, they were told the home was being sold to pay for the owner’s care in a nursing home. Authorities say they were advised it was supposed to be empty but that it appeared to be occupied.

After gaining consent from the owner’s power of attorney to force entry inside, deputies say they located 47-year-old Adam Williams and 44-year-old Mandy Williams, both of Bowling Green, inside of the home.

Deputies say the owner’s power of attorney stated both individuals used to live at this location but no longer do.

Upon a search, deputies say they located a glass pipe with residue and various debit cards for 10 separate people, along with a bottle of Diazepam.

Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Warren County Regional Jail.

Adam Williams is charged with resisting arrest, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

Mandy Williams is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, trafficking in stolen identities and possession of a controlled substance, first offense (opiates).
