Scottsville man charged with drug possession after traffic stop

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville man is facing charges following a traffic stop on Thursday.

According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, crime task force detectives and Allen County deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Halifax community.

Authorities say the driver was identified as Michael Greene, 30, of Scottsville.

During the traffic stop, authorities say a K-9 showed a positive alert on the vehicle.

Authorities say during a vehicle search, they located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Greene was arrested and transported to the Allen County Detention Center.

He faces charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia – buy posses.
