Duncan Hines Days announces new events this summer

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Duncan Hines Days has some new events to look forward to in summer 2025.
The event takes place annually in Bowling Green each summer, celebrating the man behind the cake mix and his local ties.
This year, Duncan Hines Days organizers say participants can look forward to the following:
- June 1: Tour de Duncan (title pending), a mountain bike race in downtown Bowling Green and Western Kentucky University ending at Fountain Square hosted by Warren County Parks and Recreation.
- June 1: Fountain Square Nostalgic Block Party from 1 to 4 p.m. hosted by Bowling Green Parks and Recreation. This will have vintage activities, concessions, live music, kids’ games and the finish line of the Tour de Duncan race.
- June 2: free showings of “Nine to Five” at the Capitol Theatre with a special opportunity to dress up and ride the “Dolly Trolley” downtown to be welcomed on a red carpet.
- June 3: Community Bike Ride hosted by BikeWalk BG, Mellow Mushroom and West Sixth Brewing.
- June 6: the return of Natasha Neely as Dolly Parton with a new tribute performance at the Capitol.
- Free Ale-8-One featured at several events.
