Wanted Scottsville man charged with meth possession

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A wanted man out of Scottsville is facing drug possession charges.
According to the Scottsville Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop around 9:16 p.m. Wednesday on a 2000 Chevrolet driven by 35-year-old Jeffrey Lee McDaniel of Scottsville for a traffic offense.
Police say they learned McDaniel had two warrants out of Allen County and a suspended license.
During a vehicle search, police say they found drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine.
McDaniel was charged with failure to or improper signal, operating on a suspended or revoked operator license, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third or greater offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia. The two warrants were additionally served.
McDaniel was transported to the Allen County Detention Center.
