Multiple agencies respond to vehicle fire in Alvaton

ALVATON, Ky. – Firefighters responded for a vehicle fire in Alvaton on Wednesday.

According to the Alvaton Fire Department, Alvaton units responded this morning for a vehicle fire on Interstate 65 north at the 15-mile marker.

Units quickly arrived on scene and extinguished the fire, fire officials say.

The Plano Volunteer Fire Department and the Kentucky State Police assisted at the scene, while the Bowling Green Fire Department assisted with medical calls.
