BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Horse Cave man is charged with trespassing after an incident at a local hotel.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded to 3139 Scottsville Road just after 2 a.m. Saturday for report of a burglary in progress.

Police say upon arrival, they spoke with occupants inside of a hotel room, who advised a man was outside of their room yelling.

Officers say the callers stated the man punched the outer window of the room.

Police say they found blood outside of the broken window and obtained surveillance footage.

According to police, they saw a male running on camera through the hallways and enter another room. Police say they learned the room was not assigned to anyone, and no one was allowed in that room.

Upon making contact with the male, police say he began yelling through the door. After having to open the door several times, police say the man was acting “extremely aggressive” and not following commands.

The male, identified as Justin Morrison, 34, of Horse Cave, was placed into custody.

Upon a room search, police say they found marijuana, rolling papers and damages estimated to be close to $2,000.

Morrison was lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail.
