Christian County man allegedly shoots, kills woman in domestic disturbance

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A woman is dead following a domestic disturbance.
On Sunday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance in the 6000 block of Pembroke-Oak Grove Road. The dispatcher told deputies gunshots were heard at the scene.
Deputies responded to the residence at 10:30 pm. They located Anthony Moore, 35, sitting on the front porch.
Deputies detained Moore. The body of Cicara C. James was located inside the home. James sustained an apparent fatal gunshot wound to the head.
Deputies took Moore into custody and interviewed by detectives. Detectives say Moore told them he shot James.
James and Moore have kids and shared the residence.
Moore is charged with murder and Wanton Endangerment-1st Degree. He is lodged at the Christian County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
