BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A murder suspect’s father is now facing charges in connection with a Bowling Green man’s death.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Sabah Khadim, 56, of Bowling Green was taken into custody Friday on charges of tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.

This follows information presented Wednesday, March 5 to a grand jury implicating Khadim in an incident involving the death of a Bowling Green man, officials say.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says it responded December 22, 2024 to a report of a vehicle collision on Morgantown Road. Deputies say upon arrival, they found Michael Scott Lee dead.

Authorities say Lee had injuries that were not consistent with the collision.

As a result of an investigation, deputies say they gathered information that 30-year-old Ali Fadil, Khadim’s son, was involved in Lee’s death. On Jan. 2, Fadil was arrested and charged with the murder of Lee.

During Wednesday’s case, deputies say Fadil was indicted on charges of murder, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.

The indictment warrant was served on Fadil at the Warren County Regional jail with a $500,000 bond.

Khadim remains lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail with a $100,000 bond.
