Ramsey Theatre Company visits Mammoth Cave to remember Floyd Collins

MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – At the Sand Cave in Mammoth Cave National Park, local actors performing in the Floyd Collins musical stopped by to pay their respects for the 100th anniversary of his death.

Visiting the site was impactful, actors said. Many of them told News 40 that the feeling is different when you’re portraying a real person, it adds extra weight to the role.

The Ramsey Theatre Company will present “Floyd Collins” on Saturday, March 8 at The SKyPAC in Bowling Green.
