Town hall to discuss assessment and accountability in Kentucky schools
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An upcoming town hall will provide an opportunity to explore improvements in education within Kentucky schools.
The Kentucky Department of Education town hall is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Organizers say the meeting will help ensure the voices of teachers, families and the community are heard regarding education improvement and to shape assessment and accountability systems.
The event will take place at the GRECC Event Center at 230 Technology Way in Bowling Green.
Kentucky Education Commissioner, Dr. Robbie Fletcher, will be in attendance, and the community is invited to participate.
