Hopkinsville man, woman facing drug trafficking, stolen property charges

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A man and woman are facing drug trafficking and stolen property charges following an alleged burglary.

On Thursday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office received a burglary report on Bradshaw Road.

Deputies say the victims’ buildings were burglarized and items valuing thousands of dollars were stolen.

During the investigation, deputies collected video evidence that revealed the suspects in the burglary.

A search warrant was executed at the residence of Joshua Craig and Courtney Roland, both of Hopkinsville, in the 2000 block of Butler Road. Craig and Roland were at the home.

Deputies say they located Roland at the home and later located Craig hiding in a chicken coop.

Deputies and the CCSO Anti-Crime Unit say items from the burglary were located at the residence. Drug paraphernalia, marijuana, methamphetamine, Psylocibin mushrooms, and suspected fentanyl were also found in the home.

Craig and Ronald were taken into custody and are both charged with receiving stolen property ($1,000-$10,000), trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree (meth), trafficking in marijuana, trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree (drug unspecified), and trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree (hallucinogen).

Craig and Roland are lodged at the Christian County Jail.
