Missing Illinois man found alive in Adair Co.

ADAIR COUNTY, Ky. – A missing man out of Illinois has been found in an Adair County field following a search.
According to WNKY News 40 media partner K105, on Dec. 29 around 3 p.m., the Adair County Sheriff’s Office was notified about an abandoned vehicle that had been found on Pelston Cemetery Road in Breeding, Kentucky.
K105 reports upon arrival, deputies learned the vehicle belonged to 74-year-old Thomas Burden of Round Lake Beach, Illinois, according to Adair County Emergency Management.
Over a dozen agencies worked to conduct an intensive search for Burden, which was suspended twice due to dangerous weather factors.
At around 10:15 p.m., Campbellsville fire chief Chris Taylor found Burden using a thermal drone.
K105 reports emergency officials stated Burden was found conscious and nearly 1,300 feet from the vehicle with hypothermia.
Burden was transported to T.J. Health Columbia before being taken to T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
According to the ACEM, the following agencies assisted during the search, including Breeding Fire Department, Adair County 911, Columbia – Adair County Fire Department, Cumberland County Rescue Squad, Campbellsville Fire & Rescue, Campbellsville Police Department drone, Kentucky Emergency Management EOC, Kentucky Emergency Management Area 10 Manager Bruce Crouch, Adair County Ambulance Service, CSI KY – Canine Search Inc., of Kentucky, Fly High Aerial Drone, Photography and Drone Deer Recovery, Alpha Team Air Support-Drone Deer Recovery and the Adair County Sheriff’s Office.
