Man arrested following pursuit in Barren County

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – One person is facing charges after authorities say he fled law enforcement in Barren County.
According to Kentucky State Police public affairs officer trooper Katan Parker, Jenvier Lunga, 25, was arrested Wednesday following a pursuit that began at the 51 mile marker southbound on Interstate 65.
Parker says the driver was speeding, which led troopers to be dispatched at 12:32 p.m.
Parker says the pursuit lasted only a few minutes before Lunga was taken into custody.
Lunga remains at the Barren County Detention Center. He is charged with speeding 26 miles per hour or greater over the speed limit, reckless driving, second-degree fleeing or evading police, improper passing and failure to or improper signal.
