Cave City police identify juvenile in trailer theft

CAVE CITY, Ky. – A juvenile is expected to face charges following a trailer theft case in Cave City.

The Cave City Police Department says during an investigation, it identified a juvenile suspect on Monday involved in the theft.

Police say the trailer was reported stolen on Dec. 6 off of South Dixie Highway.

Authorities say they were able to recover the trailer on property in Barren County. The police department says it expects criminal charges to be filed on the juvenile subject.

The Cave City Police Department was assisted in the investigation by detectives with the Barren River Drug Task Force.
