Man wanted in Georgia arrested in Park City

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A wanted man out of Georgia has been apprehended in Barren County on Wednesday.

According to a release by Barren County Sheriff’s Office chief deputy Mike Houchens, deputies were dispatched around 2:18 p.m. to a domestic incident in the parking lot of the Park City Shell Mart.

Authorities say a male subject fled the scene on foot when he observed a deputy pull into the parking lot.

The male subject, later identified as Khalil Rashaad Miller, 28, of Atlanta, Georgia, was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit, according to the release.

Authorities say an arrest warrant was active out of Georgia for Miller with confirmed extradition. He was additionally charged with fleeing and evading on foot.

The BCSO was assisted by the Kentucky State Police, US Park Rangers and the Cave City Police Department.
