GLASGOW, Ky. – One person is facing multiple charges related to a reported burglary in Glasgow.

According to a uniform citation, the Barren County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched on Tuesday for a report of a burglary in progress off of Little Work Acres Road.

Upon arrival, deputies say they spoke with individuals there, who stated the person who lived at the address had died and that Jamie Nuckols, 36, of Paintsville had been breaking into the home.

Authorities say they were told Nuckols was still inside the residence.

Deputies cleared the home and arrested Nuckols.

While speaking with the individuals who called, deputies say they learned there was a backpack on the porch that was inside of the home that Nuckols had removed.

Deputies say the backpack contained schools supplies that do not belong to Nuckols.

Previously, deputies say Nuckols had been arrested on July 13 for criminal trespassing at the home.

In addition, deputies say after arriving at the Barren County Detention Center, Nuckols was found to possess a Delta vape on her person.

She is charged with second-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others and second-degree promoting contraband.
