Headstone restoration at Woodburn Cemetery

WOODBURN, Ky. – In an effort to preserve history and take care of the community, Woodmen of The World took some time Friday to clean up some of the oldest grave markers in the Woodburn Cemetery.

News 40 spoke to David Brown, a member of Woodmenlife who along with another member of the organization was out spraying special solvents to bring vibrancy back to the cemetery.

Brown said the Woodmen are all about serving local communities and today was just another example of the organization’s mission of giving back.
