Remembering Stephen Rosebrook, fundraiser underway

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green Fire Department Engineer Stephen Rosebrook has passed, leaving a hole in the community and BGFD.

News 40 spoke to Fire Chief Justin Brooks, who said Rosebrook can’t be replaced, and they’re trying to figure out how to continue life at the department without him. Brooks said Rosebrook was among the top 10 percent when it came to physical fitness, making his death at just 29 even more heartbreaking.

Brooks mentioned Rosebrook’s daughter as well, turning 5 years old ahead of the funeral, who they are raising money for. Funeral services for Rosebrook will be held at Christ Episcopal Church on October 4 at 11 a.m. in Bowling Green.
