UPDATE: Man suspected in Bowling Green sexual assault case apprehend in Tennessee

NEW DETAILS (10 a.m.): The Bowling Green Police Department says Austin Hunt, 32, of Tennessee, a suspect in a sexual assault in Bowling Green, was apprehended by the Tennessee Highway Patrol for possession of a stolen vehicle on Thursday morning.

Hunt is charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy.

Police say Hunt will be extradited to Warren County at a later date, and additional charges are expected.

Update: Bowling Green Police public information officer Ronnie Ward says the man suspected in a sexual assault in Bowling was arrested early Thursday. The man is from Tennessee.

Bowling Green police are searching for a man who is a suspect in a sexual assault committed on Wednesday.

Police believe the man stole a red Chevrolet HHR tag J3M152.

Prior to stealing the vehicle, the man was seen on foot near Fairview Avenue and the Bypass.
