Road closed after sinkhole reported in Briarwood neighborhood

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – City officials say a sinkhole has opened up in the Briarwood neighborhood of Bowling Green.

Currently, Single Tree Way is closed to traffic, according to the City of Bowling Green’s executive assistant and public information officer Deborah Highland West. West says the sinkhole is located along the 1600 block of Single Tree Way.

News 40 crews are heading to the scene.
